We regularly assist customers looking to repair or extend buildings which were clad many years ago, using profiles that are no longer roll-formed. Using our forming expertise and in-house capabilities, we can produce bespoke folded profiles and custom lengths to closely match existing sheets.
To help speed up the process, we provide a custom profile specification guide, enabling you to clearly identify critical dimensions such as pitch, depth, cover width, crown and valley details. Once received, our team will assess the profile and material specs requested, and confirm suitability before producing a quotation.
All bespoke and obsolete profiles are manufactured to order, cut precisely to the lengths you require (up to 6 metres, subject to profile and material specification). This ensures a cleaner installation, reduced site cutting, and minimal material waste.
Because many older profiles require wider feed material or specific gauges, all custom profiles are supplied Price on Application (POA), following technical review. This guarantees that what we supply is fully compatible with our machinery and meets your project's requirements.
Subject to profile suitability, bespoke sheets can be produced in a wide range of commonly stocked materials and finishes, including galvanised steel, polyester-coated steel, plastisol coatings and other specialist finishes. Our team will advise on the best and closest available option where original specifications are no longer in circulation.
