Warranty Information

At Hornsey Steel Panels and Sections Ltd, we take pride in everything we manufacture. All of our products are made using high quality materials and are produced to consistently high standards at our facility in Bucknell, Shropshire.

This page should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions, which sets out the full legal position on warranty protection under Warranty Protection.

1. Warranty Protection

You may be eligible to apply for warranty protection offered by one (or more) of our suppliers. Please contact our Customer Service Team at info@hspas.co.uk or 01547 530419 for more details.

If you do not apply for the warranty, your products are not protected, save for any legal rights which may arise.

2. Our Approach to Warranty

Warranty periods and terms vary depending on the product, the finish selected, and in some cases the manufacturer, where a product is supplied by one of our partners such as Kingspan, Swisspearl or Filon rather than manufactured by us directly.

As a general guide, our own manufactured profiled sheets and sections, when specified and installed correctly, are designed to provide many years of reliable service. Specific warranty periods depend on the coating and finish chosen.

3. Manufacturer Direct Products

Where a product is supplied directly from a manufacturing partner, such as Kingspan insulated panels, Swisspearl fibre cement sheets, or Filon rooflights, that product is covered by the manufacturer's own warranty terms. We will provide you with the relevant warranty documentation at the time of order, or on request.

4. What Affects Cover

A number of factors can affect whether a product remains covered under warranty, including but not limited to:

• correct specification of the product for its intended application and environment
• installation in accordance with our guidance and good industry practice
• use of compatible fixings, fillers and accessories
• routine and reasonable maintenance of the installed product
• damage caused by incorrect handling, storage or installation

5. Making a Warranty Enquiry

If you believe you have an issue with a product that may be covered under warranty, please contact our team as soon as possible. To help us deal with your enquiry quickly, please have your order details, the product specification, and where possible some photographs of the issue, ready to hand.
